"Silhouette" depicts the figure of a woman wearing red gloves and a black dress that dissolves into darkness. Only her silhouette, formed through expressive brushstrokes, gradually reveals itself to the viewer, its rich texture coming to life as light falls across the surface. The dark background does more than surround the figure, it becomes an essential part of the composition, transforming into a space of silence, mystery, and the unknown.

The longer the viewer remains before the painting, the more details begin to emerge. Light becomes an integral element of the work, bringing the textured surface to life and allowing the silhouette to emerge from the darkness.

Much like the silhouette itself, gradually appearing from the shadows, the image of this enigmatic woman lived in the artist’s imagination for a long time before finding its form on the canvas. Even after it took shape on the canvas, it retained the sense of mystery from which it was born.
